Our big one-year-old

This post is long overdue! Our baby, Garrison Richard, turned one on May 28. We had a fun party with his grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, and sister. I can't believe he is already one!! It is true that the older we get the faster time flies.

Here he is having fun ripping the paper off of one of his presents.

Gabrielle (the princess) had just as much fun as Garrison did playing with his new toy.

Garrison LOVED all the balls he received. At the time, he loved crawling after them. He would get close to one, then hit it with his hand as he was crawling and then chase after it some more. All the while, he would have a huge grin on his face. Too cute!! He is now walking, so now he just throws them and chases after them.

Grandpa Rich helping Garrison walk around. He was taking steps at the time, but only a few at a time.

Garrison feeding pizza to Grandpa B.

Some of our family helping to celebrate the big day.

Daddy and Grandpa D. eating some pizza before all the festivities began.

He has no idea what is about to happen. I love this picture. I LOVE watching kids dig into their cake on their first birthdays. It is so much fun!

Garrison dug in face-first right away. All of the other kids have looked at us after we put the cake in front of them. They wonder what they are supposed to do. Not Garrison! He just leaned down and took a bite out of his cake. It was awesome!!

He was definitely enjoying the cake.

He finally just picked up the entire cake. In this picture he looks drunk on sugar. He sure was enjoying that cake!

The big brothers wanted a picture with the birthday boy.

We just decided to stick him in the kitchen sink to clean him up. He really enjoyed that. Isn't he cute?!
