Halloween 2009

I didn't want to buy Halloween costumes this year, so we were creative and used things that we already had. Grant was the one who had the heardest time figuring out what he was going to be. He finally decided to be a vampire/werewolf/basketball player. Scary, huh?!
Gavin was a zombie football player.
Gabrielle was a BYU cheerleader. Scott was against the BYU part, but since it was free (borrowed from our niece), he was fine with it.
Garrison was a cow. It was one of Grant's old costumes. He wasn't too fond of his costume as you can tell, though.

Getting ready to trick-or-treat. Grant didn't want to trick-or-treat this year. He chose to stay home and pass out candy. Don't worry. He got candy. Garrison collected some for him.

Garrison had a great time trick-or-treating! He caught on and would take the candy and put it in his pumpkin.

It took Gabrielle half the night to say "trick - or - treat" before saying "thank you" for the candy. But. I'd rather her say thank you, than trick-or-treat. She didn't want to stop trick-or-treating.
Daddy cuddling with our little cow.

Trying to pose for a picture. As you can tell, Garrison wasn't very cooperative since he couldn't stand his costume at this point. So, this is the best one we could get.

The children who would cooperate for the picture.

Looks like you had a fun Halloween. I think this was Tanner's last year. He was bigger than some of the adults at the door, so maybe next year he will just have to pass out/eat our candy.
