A couple weekends ago our ward (church) had a Christmas dinner. After dinner we had a special visitor. One of the kids (not mine) saw Santa coming down the hall and said, "Hey, here comes the fat guy!".
Each of the children took their turn at telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Gabrielle was not too keen on sitting on Santa's lap. She didn't even want to go near him. He had goodie bags for each of the children, so the only reason she even went up near him was because he had candy for her. As you can see, she wouldn't sit on his lap. She wasn't getting any closer than she had to. Why are kids so scared of Santa?
